These Terms of Use describe the general rules for using GharDekho Renters (“GharDekho”, “we”, “our” or “us”). By using the website, you agree to use the platform lawfully and responsibly.

1. Platform purpose

GharDekho is designed to help renters discover rental properties and help property owners publish and manage rental listings. GharDekho is a connection and discovery platform and does not itself become a party to a rental agreement between a renter and an owner.

2. User accounts

You are responsible for providing accurate information and for keeping your account credentials secure. Do not share passwords, OTPs or authentication credentials with other people.

3. Property listings

Owners are responsible for the accuracy and legality of information they submit. Listings should not contain misleading, fraudulent, illegal or prohibited content. GharDekho may review, restrict, remove or disable listings or accounts where appropriate.

4. Renters and property verification

Renters should independently verify the owner, property, identity, documents, availability, rent, deposit and other relevant details before entering into an agreement or making a payment.

Do not make a payment solely because a property appears on GharDekho. Verify the owner and property first.

5. Visits and communications

Visit requests and communications made through GharDekho are intended to facilitate contact. Users remain responsible for their own conduct, appointments, negotiations and decisions.

6. Prohibited use

• Fraudulent or deceptive listings.
• Impersonation or misuse of another person's identity.
• Harassment, threats or unlawful discrimination.
• Uploading malware or attempting to compromise the website.
• Using the platform for unlawful activities.
• Publishing sensitive credentials or personal information that should not be public.

7. Third-party services and links

The platform may use or link to third-party services. Their availability and terms are outside GharDekho's direct control.

8. Changes to the platform

Features, listings and functionality may change over time. We may update, suspend or discontinue features when necessary to operate or improve the platform.
